I am considering getting one mainly because of constant interruptions by adverts and dj's talking shite and so on. I like my music (mainly blues/rock etc).

Can anyone recommend one and channels to listen to?

Yes indeed. However a want a radio which I can move around the house and garden and connect to the hi-fi occasionally.

Had it at least 3yrs, use it every day, virtually all day, you need to buy the rechargable battery as an extra, which I thought was a bit unfair.

We have one but the bandwidth demand for some channels [radio 1] causes major interruptions so its better if you can get one with a physical connection to your router.

There are channels all over the world that are fascinating and awesome and a computer is good but nowhere near as a specialised radio.

Fuck Radio1 et al, it's that sort of thing I'm trying to avoid.

Edit - bandwidth shouldn't be a problem, got 50meg soon to be upgraded to 100
