Looks good. Just one question, does it have a 3.5 mm coax output so i can connect it to the hi-fi?

I am considering getting one mainly because of constant interruptions by adverts and dj's talking shite and so on. I like my music (mainly blues/rock etc).

Can anyone recommend one and channels to listen to?

Thanks in advance

We have one but the bandwidth demand for some channels [radio 1] causes major interruptions so its better if you can get one with a physical connection to your router.

There are channels all over the world that are fascinating and awesome and a computer is good but nowhere near as a specialised radio.

Fuck Radio1 et al, it's that sort of thing I'm trying to avoid.

Edit - bandwidth shouldn't be a problem, got 50meg soon to be upgraded to 100

Tell me more ...

I bought one of these when ebuyer sold a load of cheap £15 it works fine you can chose a genre or country and turn the wheel very happy with it

Depends on the hi-fi, unless you want resurrection.

Was thinking of offering myself a nice Christmas present: I always loved Roberts radios as a kid and teenager. Always found them very smart, good quality too. Never owned one — out of my league. The Revival range, which I've just discovered, is very pretty.
Can anybody on here who owns one give me some feedback? I'm particularly interested in the relative advantages of the Uno BT as opposed to the iStream 3L. One is substantially more expensive than the other, that, I've grasped.
I can't understand their promotional gobbledygook, so keep it simple. To quote the film Margin Call, “speak as you would to a golden retriever”.
I should perhaps add that I'm a great radio listener, since forever. I have never owned a television set in my entire life. The quality of the sound is important (I listen to classical and jazz fairly regularly). Being able to hook it up to my Bose headphones by bluetooth is also important. Perhaps I should add that I don't have a Spotify or Deezer account and have no particular intention of having one in the near future (maybe that's a mistake, I don't know).
My Panasonic, which I've had for years, does the job, but it's pre-DAB, and it irritates me the way when I move around the flat the sound becomes execrable. Also, it's not a model that you'd want to listen to music on in any serious way (ok for news, talk shows and suchlike).
Any advice or feedback much appreciated.

The iStream 3L has greater functionality and is more versatile.

Whatever you get make sure it has DAB+.
Standard DAB is being phased out and stations turning it off.

I have 2 Roberts radios and they're great.

I have an iStream 3 and a Stream 94i. The latter was a refurbished model although you couldn't tell.

They are well built and sound quality is good too.

I use it for listening to the radio (obviously!), streaming Spotify (music and podcasts) and a some internet radio. (a US music station)

Agree with the observation about DAB+
