Invasion of Camp Nou

8 of us, Manc - Lisbon - Barca - Madrid - Manc (bet no one else on this route!!) Mon - Thurs, staying hostel near Diagonal. Running total : 311

4 of us flying with sport options on the day trip.

Bought tickets from the football museum and sat with a few hundred blues in the barca end, 2nd tier behind the goal

running total 315

I've already counted 9 of us on the list, but here are a couple of things for all you who didn't go last year:

If you're travelling around by train, metro, bus or tram your best option is the T10 card, which is 'multipersonal' (meaning that more than one of you can travel with it). It costs 9.95 euros and is valid for 10 trips (including changes), instead of the 2.15 euros that a single trip costs. Link:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mapametrobarcelona.net/en-precio-metro-barcelona.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mapametrobarcelona.net/en-pr ... celona.php</a>

If you want cheap drinks, then forget the Plaza San Jaume and the Ramblas, where you'll be ripped off, and head for Barceloneta (the beach area). 100 yards inland you have loads of really cheap bars. Here's one for you: Cal Chusco (5 euros for a bucket of 5 cold beers and a huge free tapa):

<a class="postlink" href="https://plus.google.com/113928379028183557692/about?hl=es&gl=es" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://plus.google.com/113928379028183 ... l=es&gl=es</a>

Right in front is Bar Sergio! You MUST get in there - it would be rude not to - (even if it looks a bit rough!) for a selfie!

Next door to Cal Chusco is a great restaurant, Can Ros. If you're not incredibly rich, like me or De Niro (sorry, Bill!), you don't need to go for the expensive dishes, as they do an amazing menu of the day (3 courses with booze included) for just 13.50 euros.

<a class="postlink" href="https://plus.google.com/101440229967080325942/about?hl=es&gl=es" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://plus.google.com/101440229967080 ... l=es&gl=es</a>

Just like last year, I'll be using Cal Chusco as my HQ to hand over the tickets I've got from Barcelona. If you turn up, I'll buy you a beer! See you there!
