put some music on your ipad

An option Squirty but does not solve playing youtube in the background and surfing the net at the same time.
the trouble is it uses a youtube app

does it do it if you have a youtube tab on safari and browse in another tab?

-- Fri Mar 01, 2013 9:16 pm --

although on second thoughts i know that won't work

01. Launch YouTube app and find your media files to listen to OR simply launch your web browser and launch YouTube by visiting youtube.com (web YouTube works now without opening the YouTube app).

02. Start listening your desired file.

03. Double tap the home button.

04. Slide it to the left and press PLAY.

05. Proceed to use your device as normal.

Hope it helps? :-)

Tried that and works great until i click on Safari and then silence. I am about as technical as a dead fish.

If your using Safari try this method:

1. Open Safari.
2. Open Youtube app and start a song/video.
3. Switch to Safari by dragging 4 fingers across the screen.
4. Double tap home button (or use multitasking gesture) slide it to the left and press PLAY.
5. START UR SURFIN!

The Nexus 10 by a country mile.

Asus transformer infinity, i think you'll find. But it costs a fortune.

I was giving a balanced view based on how much you get for your money, not just going for the highest spec device around. If I was to go down that route I'd be recommending high end workstations to everyone who asked about the best computer they could get.

That said, despite being substantially cheaper than the Transformer Infinity, the Nexus 10 still has a much better screen, better battery life, more memory, better audio, faster wifi, newer Android version and a large amount of cloud storage. The Transformer Infinity has a faster processor, better GPU and better camera, plus there's a 64GB model available if you want it.

The Transformer Infinity would be better for things that require intensive processing, for example high end Android gaming. The Nexus 10 would be better for things that rely on display and audio quality but only moderately intensive processing, for example web browsing, watching video, listening to music and reading. The 32GB Nexus 10 is £389 whilst the 32GB Transformer Infinity appears to be over £500 from most reliable retailers, though many only seem to sell the 64GB model for over £600.

As I said, the Nexus 10 is the best Android tablet out there at the moment. It does most things better than any other tablet on the market at a decent price. If, however, you want to be playing high end Android games then yes, the Transformer Infinity would be the better buy.

Er no, the infinity is widely considered the best android tablet on the market. The nexus 10 might be the best value, but that doesnt make it the best. I paid the price you quoted for the nexus 10 for my infinity, my brother has the nexus 10 and it is very good but with the price being the same for me, the infinity was the only choice. That said, if i has the choice again i would get the nexus 7. Best value if youre not fussed about screen size.

Highest spec does not equate to best device. You are wrong, it's quite simple. The better audio and visual specs of the Nexus 10 and the higher memory capacity make it better for day to day use, for example video and web browsing. The higher processing capabilities of the Infinity make it better for high end game play. It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. Unless you are playing high end games you made the wrong choice.
