Ipod Touch Wi-Fi problems...Help?

I can connect to my Wi-Fi with no problems (Settings>Wi-Fi>Tap my network and enter password, then a tick appears next to my network name), but when I try to go on Safari or any other app that uses Wi-Fi the blue bit loads up on the URL bar by about 0.5 cm then just stops and it just says 'Connecting...' until I click the home button.

Help?

Same boat as me mate. Because of the snow a mate of mine hasn't been able to get down and have a gander at it. I've heard its the router password, Ive tried putting in the W.E.P code from the bottom of the router ( yours could be the same ) , but it still did not work.
It all boils down to the router password settings, or so I've been told, you may have to reset your router password.
