Actually spoke to Kevin Horlock on Saturday when his team played at King's Lynn.

Thanked him for the Gillingham goal and said we'd be fucked if the class of 99 didn't come up trumps.

His response was "we'd have been fucked if it had fell to my right foot"!!!

He was pretty passionate whilst talking about City.

Needham Market are struggling - they are a village team competing in a division containing numerous ex-league clubs, I'm surprised the FA put them in the National League North (I know they are literally on the border of the league split, but it's ridiculous the amount of travelling they have to do)

Had a similar experience when they played at Hitchin in their recent promotion season (last season I think?) Really good guy and thanked me and all the City fans for our incredible support and how brilliant it was to be involved in those 2 seasons in particular. Told him he was pretty good in 2001/02 as well !!! I was a bit gutted as I wanted him to sign my season ticket books particularly 98/99 and 99/00 but I'd put them somewhere safe....too safe for me to find in time but maybe I'll get another chance. He actually wanted to carry on chatting about City but after a while I had to politely suggest that he probably ought to get back to the dugout. Needham were struggling last time I looked but hopefully he can turn it round for them
