A midfield of
K.D
Kova
Phil
frightens me to death.
I take your point, there isn’t a decent 'tackle' between the three of them, sometimes Kova sticks a foot in, but defensively that 3 are sliced and diced with ease. I see the dips contained Brentford's attack with consumate ease, against us the other night the mighty Bees looked like Brazil 1970. Makes me think how unbalanced our squad is, we just don't have enough DMs. Especially for away games, where a double pivot and 2-3-1 is more robust. I just have really low confidence of keeping a clean sheet in any away game. If Ruben is back that should make us more solid. If you don't concede you can't lose. Who was it that said "if its pure entertainment you're after, then try the circus"....

Can’t argue with that.

8-)

The Boys in Blue never give in. They fight to the end. Come on City, come on City. Show ‘em lads, show ‘em all. Especially those tractor boys, we are better than them.
Especially the know nowt alleged media who wouldn’t know a football from a golf ball they are so thick.
Especially the Specsavers needing whistleblowing, flapdoodle, foozlers, who forget who we are. Don’t they know we are: MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. One day they will remember. :-) ;-)

Got a busy day today, so I’m posting early. Have a great day.
but what about Jonny boy?

significant drift in City's odds at Betfair this morning-perhaps signifies one eye on PSG-but implied win probability gone from circa 77% down to 66%.
Perfect time to lump tenner

Let's face it, we're not keeping a clean sheet for the remainder of this season. Our back line is as safe as a child at a BBC presenters works party.

Our midfield will get run ragged again and yer man Delap will have a field day against our back line.

Our only hope is for KdB to lay some chances on a plate for the big lad.

I'd take 1-1 right now against this lot.

Usually I don’t believe you but the bbc work party child safety just convinced me to change my mind.

But apart from that you’re confident?

By the way, we can assume, I hope, that the two teams will want to mark a tribute to Denis, and that one of them will want to mark it particularly, since we were his second club in England and he ended with us. Something which the official tributes seem to have assiduously avoided mentioning till now.
If I had my way, I'd want the entire City team to do a back heel — in unison. Even camping it up a bit.
