Could you define what is acceptable as criticism of the Israeli state's position on Palestine and what isn't?
It seems to me that a lot of people are criticising it in a way that you find anti Semitic, which is probably down to a poor choice of words rather than the sentiment behind them.
The media are extremely fast to clamp down on such things based on buzz words/phrases.
Most of these people who are not in any position of power, have read half baked articles on the situation there and are outraged by the killing of defenceless Palestinians, without the necessary syntax to portray their outrage without using certain buzz words or reposting others that don't have the ability to express their distain without differentiating between Zionism and Judaism.
What I don't understand is why so many Labour members have a vested interested in the Israeli/Palestianian conflict. Why aren't they similarly up in arms about Libya, Iraq et al?
