He did "brake" his leg in that he slowed it rapidly to a stop. Don't know if he meant to "break" it though;-)
 
Not an Irani one but still a Talkshite one.

Adrian durham said last night that City should give Mario an extended ban like they did for Ben Thatcher. Went onto say that he had been given a red card and 3 match ban by the FA and that City took it upon themselves to increase this to 9 games.

Now i know i'm getting on but i remember it being a yellow card and the FA upgrading it because of the seriousness of the assault. However, i do not recall City imposing their own ban on him?

I can't remember that, but we should have if we didn't. One of the worst, if not thee worst, 'challenges' i've ever seen that. Fucking disgrace of a human being was Thatcher that night.

We did i remember Pearce did his nut. We suspended him for 6 games anf fined him 6 weeks wages on top of the 8 game ban the FA gave him
Thing is that tackle was not a tackle and was utterly vile while Balo's was shit and he got the ban he deserved anyway. Dont see people falling over themselves to ban Song for his minging challenge on Yaya

I've had my fill with Balotelli and his silliness, however that's all it is - silliness. I remember watching that Thatcher assault on Mendes and said to our kid, 'that's fucking horrendous'. He said it was nothing, as did others sat behind us but I knew it was worse than what it looked like live. He emailed me the next day and said 'you were right, that WAS fucking horrendous!'
He should have been done for assault, Ferguson style. There was nothing in what he did which resembled any kind of footballing challenge, it was a cold cut case of assault. Angry little **** that he was.
