The Iranians have saved face by launching a phoney missile attack, Soleimani is no longer waging war in the Middle East, and Trump has been told to log off Twitter.

Nothing USA did last 15-20 years in Middle East made Iran weaker. From Iraq to Syria, whatever USA did and wherever it got involved, it made Iran stronger and it's regional enemies weaker. Even when you look at how this thing is going on, the outcome of it mostly looks like USA will leave Iraq and that basically means that country will get a full Iranian grip and it was already a half-iran country last 20 years. And it was their biggest and grave danger before USA got invlved there after September 11th.
I'm not sure some big guns in Iran were too happy with Soleimani's rise in last few years, he was by far the most popular person in Iran and overall in shia's world.
I know it's bit of trumpist's voter way of thinking, but these things above are facts and the orange **** had some elections to do this year. Few tits for tats and both sides get what they want. Trump to woman around how he's though guy and Iran... they're basically getting everything from USA last 2 decades. Apparently this general walked around with impunity. Basically could have been killed on almost any given day. Just don’t see the point of having done this.
If push came to shove, pretty sure Israel has the capacity to essentially level Iran. Don’t think it’s true going the other way. Hope none of this happens and hope everyone can keep their cool.
Iran doesn’t have a decent air force though? Israel does.
Anyway, what I mean is that Israel will retaliate with force. I don’t see benefit of engaging them too unless Israel joining in means the other Arab nations will side with Iran?
