Why do some blues just not see that this bloke is so out of form, no matter where he plays at moment

Every thread is Ireland save our season, we all know what Ireland can do.

i watched a player yesterday that looked lost and needed a map to find his way into the game, until mancini did the humane thing and took him off

All season he has been like this, i love the lad as well but he is not the answer at the moment, shadow of the player, all im saying is take the specs off and see the player that isnt even fit to lace the boots of the player he was last season!!!

These are the same people that think were doing great and should be happy with the way our sason is going coz we are fifth. Unfortunately they just dont get it. How many chances does Ireland need to have a good game, hes been awful in whatever position he plays. I hope he gets better but even when he does get his form back he wont be the zidane like genius that some on here think he is.

Posted on another thread that I am worried for SI. But what do you do if you can't put your finger on the problem, and it seems nobody can. We can see what the result is, but can't name the cause. It's the same with strikers who can't score - do you play them until one goes in, or sit 'em in the corner until one goes in? I think the only solution is to play on, at least until we have a better option. Are there any better options?

No better options right now but there will be come August and I think Ireland will be a impact substitute througout the rest of his City career or he will be at a different club!

His form is no surprise to me as I thought in at least half his games last season he was very poor! he was okay in others and great in some! but the inconsisency and sporadic-ness of his outstanding performances showed me that he wasn't a great player and is why I voted for Kompany for player of the season last season!

It's no secret that SI reads BM.Last time he read bad reports about himself,he says it spured him on to do better. This time it could persuade him to leave.

What are we supposed to blow smoke us his ass then!!

Sorry ireland you have been amazing, zidane would bow down to you!!

I have said i love the guy but even he would admit he is out of form!!

Ireland needs to play himself back into form by chasing everything and getting his foot when he gets there. Causing trouble to defences unsettles them so you can do the fancy stuff to get through them.

Because of his age he thinks he needs to stay fresh for when the opportunity arrives to attack but the defenders are fresh then to! Robinho was doing something similar and see where it got him in this league during this season.

Ireland, hone your skills, do the fancy stuff but for your own sake take responsibility for your career and your team's results and get stuck in. If you are better and City are better then let the opposition know it. We can't afford pansies if we are going to move forward. No fear fella!

When Mancini loaned out Robinho I was hugely disappointed. I thought it was an error of judgement. But I trust the manager to call it right.

If he sells every player at the club and replaces them with the Shrewsbury reserve team... that's his call. He can only be judged on the quantifiables.... points won, league position, cup successes, use of resources...

And if he cocks up he gets sacked. Like any other manager would.

I remember baconface selling Hughes, Kanchelskis and Ince all one summer; Red Issue and all the other professional protestors at the swamp organised petitions and protests to get Fergie out.

They won the league that year.

Fans know next to fuck all compared to the professionals. Too many on here have an overblown view of their own contributrions, and so long as they realise it is just "opinion" and leave the decisions to the manager, then fair enough.

You either support the manager, or you want him out.

Question each individual decision by all means, but the bottom-line is you either trust him or you don't. At the moment i still trust Mancini.

^^^^ this, especially so when coupled with the 'plastics' - if I might borrow this term and lend it to the disturbing trend on here recently of hysterical posters who seem to be losing sight of what it is to be a City supporter (at least from an 'old school' perspective) and sound like they're 'supporters' of another team.

I thought I might as well post this in here for a little bit of perspective.

I would also doubt that players or managerial staff come on here for anything but a jolly good laugh at what's posted up at times, because it's often pure comedy, and how people can take it or themselves seriously I really do not know.
