I thought I read somewhere that Tevez reckoned he'd be ok for the Derby - his motivation to play in this game above all others should help him in his rehabilitation, I'm sure.

Its also likely that City will appeal any punishment given to Ade, which will leave him free to play the Derby.

Ireland and Robbie do look doubtful though. Thankfully our squad is so good this season that I think we can still put a fantastic team together even without those two, who were arguably two of our best players last season.

tin hat on gents, but I dont think superman is on his game at the moment,
he looked completely off the pace on saturday and hasnt been all that in the other games.
dont get me wrong, I am a big fan of his, just think he aint at it at the moment. I think he dropped off at bit at the end of last season truth be known.
The worry though is that we do not have a replacement for him like all other positions now Elano has gone

1/ Do we get financially compensated for the injuries sustained to Tevez and Robinho whilst on international duty?
2/ Was there not a release clause in our loan deals for Bojinov/Caiceido where serious injuries are concerned? If not, why not?

Bojinov is struggling to get into the Parma side on form, Caiceido is currently injured for sporting
