I used to enjoy watching Arsenal spank us at Maine Road in a perverse kind of way, some of the best football I've ever seen, that night when they were 4-0 up after 10 mins springs to mind but how times have changed.
 
A 5 week old bucket of rancid Donkey spunk has more football nous and ability than Smalling, I just cannot fathom how the useless twat actually gets paid to be a footballer. As for the game it is terrible

This. The players just had a long season the last thing they want to do is play a meaningless England friendly and thats showing in their performance.
 
I think in some cases it works out well these games if it is building up for a quailifying match its a no brainer to look at players. Long on and McClean for Ireland usual bullshit from O Neill
