Ireland was the only one who looked interested....

It is true, he was. He may have not have had a good game but he looked like he was in it. Ireland is City!! I am behind him all the way.

Ireland was excellent , without him getting much joy , and Tevez looked lively too ...... De Jong did okay for a while , but faded ...... but you need most of your players to play well to win away games , or home ones for that matter ..... and it just didn't happen at Spurs.

All eleven were interested. Its nonsense to suggest otherwise, players always go out to give their best it's their job

If that was even remotely true 'kramer' , then the players would hardly likely be having a full scale row in the dressing room after the game , would they?

They know they let themselves , and the fans down ..... they know it only too well!

Most of the players on that field who looked genuinely 'interested' were wearing white shirts!

Always goes missing in the big games. Don't think his performances have been great at all this season but even last season where he did quite well against the likes of Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Liverpool he tends to go missing.

superman looked interested but he plays like a kid in a playground he wants to be centre forward left wing left back right wing
no one can knock hes willingness to be on the ball but he needs discipline in hes game there was times when the ball would would come from the left and no one was on the right to pick it up which was where superman was suppost to be this is why a lot of fans are saying vlad should of got a chance.i dont think hes found a place what suits him best at the moment in the current team

i agree with chris b - i thought santa cruz was interested when he came on and would prefer him to start against sunderland instead of adebayor. ireland and de jong (who had just returned from a bout of The Swines) looked up for it - barry was diabolical.

Tevez, De Jong, Shay, Vinny, Nedum, SWP, Zabaleta and Ireland are the only ones who look remotely like they give a fuck at the minute, and Roque has the desire. Those names should be in the starting line up week in week out for me. I couldnt pick an entire team that looks like they care though.

Sam the Guru..were you there? That is absolute bollocks. Tevez ran his heart out, admittedly running into Spuds players half the time, De Jong battled everyone including the ref to the point if he hadn't gone off he probably would have got sent off and Barry never stopped trying. Also I didn't see Given give up either. Ireland played no better than the players mentioned. The problem was the ones who really weren't trying and I would put Ade and Robinho in that frame and then some who weren't good enough including Syvinho. If MH had any sense he would have doubled up against Lennon and cut their supply out.

It was crying out for Barry to either drop back to left back or to take him out by doubling up with Sylvinho but our tactical genius manager left our slowest player against the fastest on the park. Everyone watching City noticed this after 5 minutes except our bench!

Spot on except most people saw this before a ball was even kicked!!

Wrongun. Have to disagree with you. Was on pre season tour in Thailand when he came on against bolton. he ran the park as a 17 year old. I know they're only friendlies but you can see he's got bags of class. Think he should be given license to roam, which he isn't being given at the moment. You can stick your Stevie Gerrard up your arse. Stevie Ireland (IMO) is that good and can be better.
