irish t.v. on england

So if somebody doesn't pull their pants down and knocks off a quick one over a TV with England on it while screaming "That England performance is amazing and will surely win the World Cup", then they're simply jealous because their nation isn't it it?

Very faulty logic. Very Rag like the replies seen in this thread, as like them, it seems many members here can't accept justified criticism of a fairly poor England campaign so far.

It's far more balanced to get a view of the games on ITV and BBC with the mute button on to bypass the propaganda.

"cold hard facts" Since when have opinions - even Irish opinions - been cold hard facts? you tosser.

To say that England's performance today was "awful", and picking out Milner, Lampard and Gerrard for OTT criticism, does make them sound bitter. England for the majority of the match, were decent today. Nothing special but certanly not "awful"

It's incredible that you picked that post to quote, but you didn't actually watch it.."you tosser." FFS like.

I watched both vids. Anyone can say they're not bitter. Your vid doesn't change the content of the OP vid. Nor does it change your stupid claim that their opinions are cold hard facts.

FFS like, ye clown

Forgive me, I was too busy having a wank over England managing to beat a country with the population of 1/3 of London.

What part of what I said was flawed? I gave a sarcastic reply in response to members' thinking that beating Slovenia was a great display and everything is back on course for England.

Members here have gotten very aggressive towards any rational and fair criticism of England since the USA game. If you simply alter "England" to "United" it would be the same as reading a biased post on ragcafe.

Its like some English fans have there heads in the sand a bit if you ask me. Take the BBC or ITV view they are back on track and run with it but dont come out with the shit that some have come out with. We are all football fans a know when a team is playing well and when they are not. Take those English shades off and watch the games again and this World Cup has been a poor start so far for England. England were top class qualifing for the World Cup but they havnt brought that form to the World Cup for some strange reason. People can only go off what they see and so far it is not good for England.

'Gerrard played terrible cause....err....errr....he fell over'

This thread is like games day on a Friday afternoon in the nut-nut class.

I'd have to assume that someone who calls that performance "incredibly bad" doesn't really watch much football. Bizarre viewpoint.
I'd have to say that the comments made were relative to expectation and in that context they're correct. England went to the WC finals on a tidal wave of expectation (as they always do). Some of the hype was well founded, some of it wasnt. The first two matches England played were poor and considering the talent available to the squad, scraping past a team such as Slovenia hardly covers them in glory, no matter how you might view individual performances. Would anyone disagree that if they put the same performance in against Germany on form as they did against Slovenia that England would have their passports stamped before they could say gazundheit?

And where does it leave it if they play with equal parity to the Slovenia game and beat the Germans? The stdio guest are being paid monies to play devils advocate, the posters in this thread were not working of hypotheticals but cold hard facts.
