irish t.v. on england

cant spell-dont care said:
TBH the bit i found stupidist was saying that USA got help from the ref when they had a goal incorectly ruled out for offside and a few days ago a perfectly good winner chalked off for nothing.

did you see the whole 90 min of the usa v algirea game or just the highlights

As per my OG post I do not give a fk what Irish people think about the England team. It's not any of their concern. Worry about getting your own team to qualify for something & then you would not need to comment on our team.

While you are at it why don't you start supporting your own league teams instead of English ones?

Their pundits hired to talk about world cup games, they have criticised well teams that desreved criticism, but they should just mind their business? They're pundits for the love of God like, and you should have heard them rip into Ireland when they were bad, and the manager when they were bad, if anything they are their heaviest critics. But they're fair, like they were today.

England were terrible, but it falls on very sensitive ears. Fine.

Why don't we support our own home grown league? I think you'll find that the reasons some clubs are still alive today are because of the supporters.
I mean what do you know about it? Very little. The Cork City team, is that, a city team, became bankrupt and had to be wound up, a short time ago, a proud club with a long line of history, and success ended, wiped out because they hadn't a penny to their name.

But it didn't die. It now exists under a new(ish) name, and it lives on because of the determination of the supporters.

Teams are really struggling money wise, most anyway, but they have their support, but the Man U's and Liverpools of the world are a world away, they are an escape from what's in front of us all the time. They are another reality.

You can't appreciate the foreign fans, that's your loss, if we all fucked off the stadium would be half empty.

Can't take hearing the truth about the English team, that's your problem, but don't continue to go on about something you know nothing about.

"Ye" know fk all about football, full stop. England were poor in their first two games but today they were not.

You have said in a previous post that you are not a die hard city fan, so I would be surprised if you went to any games last season. So not sure how you help fill the ground.

The truth is Ireland are fkin shite & if you were good enough to even get in the WC you wouldn't need to spend all your time posting shit about England.

I do not have the money or the time to fly to every single game out in City. But that has nothing to do with it, and Ireland being shite or not for that matter has nothing to do with it either, they had an opinion and anyone with a decent football brain could have told you that, by their standards, by the standards set by the Lampards, Rooney's Gerrard's..etc of the world they were crap. They were much better, which they said, but they were still, compared to what we are used to seeing from these players, rubbish. And the fact that they are Irish pundits has nothing to do with it, and it certainly wont change the facts.

And if it was there, ye'd see that in the post match German game they went on to say that the next round is another story all together, if they can get the likes of Rooney performing they could well beat Germany, as Germany lack something up front, and Rooney on form could give the two German cbs an awful problem. But it's not up so you can't see it, so it'll be moaning and tears as per usual from the English.
They gave an opinion that a lot of people agree with, just because you are sensitive to those opinions doesn't mean that they haven't the right to say it, and a hell lot of people agree with them. Maybe if you took the English tinted glasses off you would have seen a different game all together.

Oh and, I'm nearly 100% sure that the likes of John Giles knows a hell lot more about football than you do.

I don't have tinted glasses. I have called the England team worse than shit for their performance in the first two games. But today they were anything but shit. John Terry, who I dislike as a person was immense. England played well & to say that they were poor & the game was poor is your pundits watching the game through their shit tinted, biased glasses.

If that was Giles opinion then he knows fk all about football, much like yourself.

'England were terrible'....are you taking the piss? What was terrible about James, Johnson, Terry, Upson, Cole, Gerrard, Milner and Defoe? Thats 8 memebers of a team who to be honest looked spaced out in the previous game. If there is any truth in what Soueness had to say then it looks like the teams waking up, the only thing terrible about the performance was it was'nt at least a straight 3-0. Suprised at Ronnie Whelan but i suppose he's tippled to how to jib a few £, the other fella should be on Talksport and Giles was always an obstrocalus United twat.
