Irish travellers rounded up in Manchester.

There’s enough pot holes on the roads in the UK to keep them busy for years. And out of MCR city centre.

A simple question. What do the travelling community do to to enhance the location where they decide to stay?
They burgle houses, steal cars, steal belongings out of people's back yards, leave the place looking like a rubbish tip (this list is by no means exhaustive). How much more enhancement or contribution can one ask for?

Travellers may misbehave, they may even be criminals. They don't tend to incite racial violence or believe they are members of a master race.

This is also their home country.

I don't think banning hooligans from coming to Europe is excessive.
Misbehave, eh?

Cheeky chappies out for a bit of harmless mischief.
Fuck me, some people.

This is their home country.........there would be many who would be happy if Rwanda was their home country!!!

I would suggest that you have had very little interaction with these types of people or have had them set up close to where you live.

Thieving low lives, utter scum and of no value to society. There may well be one or two good ones, but they'll be hard to find.

They are a nightmare, stealing at will, have no respect whatsoever for anybody or anything, pay no taxes, council tax, electricity, car tax or contribute anything else to society. The police are too frightened to intervene and that leaves them free to continue their activities at the expense of a helpless community.
Sometimes people need to take their blinkers off and see these people for who they really are.

And as for the original tweet is this the desperation of the right wing now that they are using gypos to push their white people oppression agenda, these are the same people who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire (and would probably torch their caravans if parked up near their house).

The travelling community demonised by the right for decades are suddenly mistreated members of society.

As the saying goes don't bullshit a bullshitter

I'll reserve judgement on what's considered 'acceptable'. However, in legal terms, Irish Travellers are defined as an ethnic group and, as such, receive protection against race discrimination, race being one of the nine protected characteristics in the UK under the Equality Act 2010 (excepting NI where the DDA 1995 still applies, albeit with some supplementary legislation). That same protection is not afforded to the 'working class' (whatever that means these days) given that class is not a protected characteristic under said legislation. To paraphrase, we might think the law is an ass but it's still the law.
tbf, you have identified the legal difference with aplomb! It was a philosophical question, but I didn’t specify as such!
