Trying not to. I still don’t fancy the FA Cup final believe it or not. We’re a million miles ahead of them but anything can happen in a derby and a final.

If we get past Real then I think we’ll win CL. The Prem should be ours now too.

I've see us snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so many times in my 37 years of following them.

We are still at the stage where we can end up empty handed this season which is a bit sobering.

Still - in 6 days we will know if its on - then and only then will I consider it as a possibility.

The scousers were in the same boat last year in 3 finals and down to the last game of the season - it can go tits up fast as they found out and despite their Cup double would likely feel somewhat disappointed.

The Premier league is 95 percent done, I would be more than happy if we lifted that trophy as City looked well out of it after Christmas. Everything needs to be thrown at Madrid tomorrow night, they don’t seem to as good on the road as they are at home. Hopefully we play with tempo and being at home we can edge through, the snidey shit house tactics they deployed last week in kicking players off the park is probably Madrid’s frustration that they missed their chance to have us out of the tie and that was their best chance.

Not getting the double from this point would be a disaster. Like you say 1 is assured but can you imagine losing the first ever FA Cup Final to the rags?? It would take the shine off this title for me.

Only 6 games to win all three and only 4 wins needed out of the 6……if we don’t think about it now we are lying to ourselves.

It will hurt a lot if we lose to them. But if we make the CL final and win that the following week it will hurt a lot less. They'll have their domestic double and we'll have the big one!
