Is Bellamy on his way out ? (merged)

Leave it up to him. Love what he did this year.. I think his second game was the first City game I saw live (Stoke away) and I'll always remember that. But if he wants to leave, knowing he'll be on the bench, then happy trails! No point in having him frustrated - we all know how that ends.

Seriously, don't think I can do without him in FIFA 09, though. Every time I fuck up and am about to lose I bring him on and he brings me goals.

Joy to watch, always puts in a great effort. I'd be sad to see him go / never used.

bellamy must stay , really rate him.

However will he be happy not starting some games.

Out of the two boj has too go

are you mad?? boji is young as, we will get good service for many a year from the lad.. bellers is quality, that is proven, but lets face it, when he loses his pace (which will happen) he won't be anywhere near the player he is now..

boji is one for the future, they are the people you want on your bench, they come on the pitch to prove they can step up and take the first team spot. bellers, while would be a great super sub, is not one for the future, and to sell boji to keep bellers is very very short sighted..

The question for me is, what role does Hughes have in mind for him and is it something that he is willing to do. Throughout his history, time and again he hasn't taken not playing well, perhaps he has changed, perhaps he understands that his body can't take playing 90mins week in week out, perhaps not. The only person that can answer those questions is Bellamy himself and if he feels able and willing to fill that role was should keep him, if not he should be allowed to move.

Am sure he won't be going anywhere this summer. He's still in with a shout of a starting place, and with Petrov more likely to leave (tho I hope he stays too) he's also got the ability to play on the left of a forward three, giving a more robust approach than Robinho if required too, and he doesn't mind tracking back either.

Anyway, we'd want at least £12m back for him and only Spuds seem to have any money to spend, and as of yet this summer Dodgy 'Arry has not made any public appreciation speech about Bellamy so I think we are safe there. Anyway, he said when he signed that he'd happily be boot boy. So would I on those wages.

bellamy will kick up a fuss if hes on the bench for to long, atleast boinj has something to prove and should feel leik eh ows us somthing for nursing him for a year or so

keep boinj

people seem to be assming that unlike bellamy, boj would be happy with a place on the bench. im fairly certain this is not the case, that lad is hungry for games. i really hope he gets a fair crack this year. he is a very good player.

Exactly and Hughesy will be honest with him that's for sure, so if he stays it will suggest that he has bought into the role that has been communicated to him.

Not sure if anyone remembers Bellemy's 1st interview after he signed......I think that he had a slip of the tongue moment & insinuated that he wouldn't be at the club for very long (can't remember what he said & don't think he meant to say it).

Maybe he signed for Hughes to do him a favour & to get him out of jail as we were in the bottom half of the table at the time. Not sure if he would stay in the Prem if he leaves for couple of reasons:

1 He's played for nearly every Prem team already
2 A warmer climate on the continent & a slower paced game will might help his dodge knees & prolong his career

where do peopel think hughes will play his men

i doubt hes brought rsc to sit on the bench and with ade seems to me he might play a 442 with tevez on the right and robi on the left

i really think hughes might struggle finding a constant first team

what does everyoen think?
