It will be good for him to get games under the belt and the only way he can do that is by leaving. If he does go out on loan then I hope he sets the world alight because he'll need to do something special to get back in the first team for us next season.

I think a loan to an Italian club is more about him being able to show that he's still a good striker to prospective buyer for the transfer window in a year time. It's all about restarting his career after 2 big injuries.

From what I have seen of him I would guess he desperately wants to play competitive football. He won't get the chance with us next season.
