Is Clichy a better on the right than left?

What do you deem a success? He laid one on for Bonys goal and also put a peach of a pass when Bony drilled it right at the keeper. There's two just off the top of my head. I'm sure he put a couple of other dangerous balls in as well as having an all round decent game.

The first goal was down to Clichy getting turned on the half way line instead of fouling then us opening up like the fucking Red Sea. We had 4 players all gravitating to the right and it left another gaping hole for the lad to finish. Had fuck all to do with Kolorov losing the ball.
 
No, that is why he was taken off and both BM goals originated down our right.

As did our equaliser from Clichy's cross. First half he was left completely exposed as none of our front 3 bothered to offer any protection and we left far too much space between our midfield and defence. 2nd half we were much more compact and I thought he did well.

To be fair,he got no help from Kdb .Coming back from lengthy absent and playing out of position didn't help him either.

His positioning was obviously off, but he was boned anyway, they had at least 2 against him constantly in 1st half, sometimes 3. Sterling/De Bruyne never helped out & the CM's didn't bother either. There were times he looked around and just shrugged his shoulders saying what can I do against 3 of them.

Second half we clearly changed and stifled that, thus stifling their only attacking threat.

Not saying I want him on the right again though.. Just think whoever was there would have struggled in that first half.

The first half was horrendous all over the pitch so your maybe right.
