I’ve tried about 5 or 6 times over the course of the evening to read the question without changing it to is Gary Neville a ****? And answering yes in my head. So taking great concentration I’ll settle and call him a scouse rag **** as a compromise.

Always thought he was a bang average player with more expensive players to cover him. Looks really hollow eyed. Perhaps it's the continued success that City have had that's killing him inside.

For his mealy mouthed praise of us, there's always a snide putdown to slip in, a phrase to shape a narrative with. Scouse Rag ****. That’s makes him the worse of the worse.

You can imagine Neville and Carragher on the pundits platform during a Dipper v Rag game, giving it large to each other if either of their teams score but then, when it comes to a City game, doing the same for any club that scores against us.

They are very much the ‘enemy of my enemy‘ and all that, and they have us firmly in their sights. However, we have the ammunition with far the better ‘team’ and manager and that’s why we will always have the upper hand unless the PL and Sky intervene.
