Is it daft to keep an eye on ? for 2nd place

Obviously they could and also win the league mathematically but it's highly unlikley. I'm not worried tbh can't see us dropping points at home against Sunderland, WBA, QPR maybe The rags but they would have to play well (or get plenty of luck like their season has consisted of). I'm pretty confident about going to The Emirates dispite our away form so i'm sure we will stay more than arms length away from them! :)

So are you still confident since I posted this thread, not far off the mark am I.

I reckon we still need at least 7 pts and the way our luck is I am hoping 2 of the home games and Wolves away will provide them.

if arsenal win every match, and we lose every match, they will be 2 points ahead of us

so no, your nowhere near the mark. 2nd is ours beyond doubt

If Arsenal win every match they will be on 79 points , If we lose every match we are on and would still be on 71 points .

The gap is 10 points, with 18 to play for...

Second is definitely ours though.

If Arsenal win the last 6 games they will have 79 PTs so I still work out we need another 9pts to be sure, they could easily win their last 6 the form they have hit.
