If we did win the CL, we'd have to win it at least 3 times for it to matter. The Coach Wreckers and Rags will keep on moving the CL goal posts. At least if we win the PL for the 5th time in 10 years the Coach Wreckers can't say f*** all. And even though the Rags have won the PL 13 times, they haven't won it since 2013. 7 years!

No , its more important for our owners and Pep's reputation and the media love beating us up over the Champs league , as a supporter i would have the league title every time , that is hard graft over 38 games , a cup competition involves a certain amount of luck in one off games . Wigan won the FA Cup they were lucky and were by far the inferior team , shit like that will always happen in cup games.

Since 2008 we’ve been told by many football fans/pundits that we may have rich owners but we’ll not -

- break into the top 4
- win the league
- knock united off their perch as the best team in Manchester
- win the premier league without coaching defenders how to tackle
- become the best premier league team ever
- win a domestic treble
- win another premier league under the finished pep guardiola

the list goes on

this is the last thing to achieve
