is it possible to ban the sun from all city press shows?

In my opinion banning the journos will only result in more negativity. The best way to answer the critics is where possible be transparent in our actions but more importantly win stuff. Fergiebum and Moaninho both demonstrate that whilst they are winning their actions are justified and reported on positively. When teams and managers fail you get a Wenger/Capello scenario.

ferguson bans journalists from his press conferences all the time, I don't think there would be a problem banning journalists from The Sun if we wanted to. Not sure making an even worse enemy out of the biggest selling paper in the country would be a great idea though however satisfying it might feel.

baconface famously banned shaun custis for not sufficiently sucking his cock. shortly afterwards neil custis turned up at a rag presser & baconface asked him what he was doing there as he was banned. neil's reply was that it was his brother who was banned not him. baconface immediately told him that he was now banned too.

How many city fans read the sun, would it be missed would it fuck?
I doubt we could ban them but we could be more private at carrington as to stop them just standing on steps and taking photos of our players training and them making up stories about them
We could start by this board banning any links to the sun and as for the public footpath why not just build a iner fence so the fuckers cant look over. If its planning then just plant some conifers.

I'm sure I read an article saying that City had tried to make Carrington more private but every solution they put forward to the Council ran into some sort of planning problem.

Said it before and I'll say it again. We need to either be firmer with certain publications, or we need to get into bed with them. Either way, Vicky Kloss and company should've done more to bury this, or should've reacted in a more timely fucking fashion. They knew 24 hours before the story was printed that it was coming.

even if we did ban them they'd be able to obtain sources from elsehwere.

A Sky Source Said this

Not bought any newspaper in years, only people I know who buy them are very old now and are borderline for retirement homes.
Saying that they do get alot of traffic to their websites - which is why they publish this shit as the articles are very SEO and thus they make money off the articles.

Ban them?
No.
after the Wigan game just google search/newsnow/Twitter Manchester City and you'll see all around the world match reports and so on related to the match you have just watched.

The sun is small fry, how have Reuters/News Assc and so on reported this?

I Strongly suspect the posters who every single day post articles to The Sun are infact working for the sun, earning a nice commission.

I agree, this has been out there for 10 months, our PR department should have had this buried a long time ago and its beginning to highlight the frailties that seem to exist behind the scenes and the day to day running of the club.

Been away and just trying to catch up on all this shit. Why has it taken almost a year to break, why now, who is shit stirring, what is in it for Ned's mum?

Ideally, yes. the Sun is a populist paper, they just change their opinion based on whats popular.

Right now, its cool to hate us.

You can't ban the press from attending matches.

What we do as a club when it comes to hospitality is treat the press like royalty . What the club should do is on matchdays the journos who have an agenda against us go to a different area where only crappy butties and stewed tea is available.
When it comes to press conferences, those journo's will not be allowed any questions and will not be able to access any individual

The press all sit in level 1 block 127, please feel free to visit them at home games and make your feelings known.....
