I think playing Manure at Wembley would spoil a good day out...same goes for playing the Scousers in Dublin.....imagine getting beat by both of them....doesn't bear thinking about..!!

Trafford was created in '74 and the fuss was horrendous :lol:

Wilmslow stayed in Cheshire, but some very rich parts like Altrincham, Hale and Bowden were lassoed into trafford.

I would hate to get the rags in a cup final. Its tense enough in the league nevermind when a cup is at stake. I would want the headlines on ssn to read city win final not united lose final.

Love the banter with them at the minute, couple of seasons ago we were annoying neighbours now they class us as a real threat, just shows how far we've come.
I get told about the issue around Trafford and 74 a lot as part of their reaction to manchester Utd being a real mancunian club, I always retort with two words "MK Dons" and talk about moving clubs, changing names etc. Am only pooh stirring but just love the reaction!!!!!!!
