Unless they get the final six points they haven't won it,bad luck lolHowever it goes, if the dippers get the title there'll always be a cloud over it...good enough for me.
Yes, I'm that sad

Even if they do get the points, there'll be players out, maybe behind closed doors, so many ifsUnless they get the final six points they haven't won it,bad luck lol
This will be up to the government, but they have to be seen as giving options to finish the season. Ultimately if the govt say they can't, then they can't. Lawsuits and fines from clubs/television just won't stand up in court after that IMO.Most commentators are saying that social distancing will be with us for a long time. Are the government going to allow the FA and PL to broadcast games even behind closed doors, to allow footballers paid tens of thousands of pounds to flaunt social distancing measures whilst the rest of us have to comply. Is the football business worth more than any other? If football is allowed to flout the rules can I do it to save my business?

Why rush the decision? If there's a chance the season can be finished then they should give themselves the opportunity to do so. Makes more sense to finish a season that's 75% complete than to scrap it so a new one can start.
Other major, one off events have been cancelled for a variety of reasons, some because there's no point doing all the prep in the months leading up to it if it won't go ahead, some because there's no wiggle room on their calendar, some because of insurance claims. Football isn't like that, they can afford to wait and see. No point rushing into a decision that we'll look back on and decide was premature.
The answer is to give the TV companies more games next season, to make up for the ones they've lost this season.
