Is it wrong i dont care if man u***** win the champs league?

Considering my football life used to revolve around hoping we got promoted or not relegated and then hoping to god that they didnt win anything, this season is the first when i really dont care what they are up to as we have had a great season ourselves

want them to play barca in the final and watch messi take the piss..
Wouldn't it be more entertaining to watch Ronaldo do it?

While I don't ever want them to win so much as a corner, as long as we win the FA Cup and finish at least 4th I'll happily take the hit of them winning the league and CL. In fact, if that were all to happen I probably won't even know they've won anything because I'll still be pissed up celebrating what we've done ;)

Not saying it's wrong if you don't care but I'm afraid I do care. Now that doesn't mean I care more about them losing than us winning. That is not the case and the question wasn't "would you be happy losing the Cup Final to ensure the rags didn't win anything". So I am quite happy doing both and hoping we win and they lose. Why wouldn't I be. I can't pretend they don't exist and I hate the fact that our possible cup win (I have to say it like that so not taking it for granted) could be overshadowed by them. You only have to remember that smug ticket touting **** charlton smirking when he said "even when City won the league, we (them) went and won the European Cup".

So yeah course I don't want them to win anything and don't want them to overshadow us.

As the song goes "Never felt more like singing the blues ....."

Don't care shit about them unless we're facing them. Don't want Rags saying that we are "obsessed" with them.

Just wanting your local rivals to lose does not equate to being obsessed. WI bet every football fan in the land, the world even, hope to see their rivals beaten. The rags can call that obsessed if they like but the facts is it is they who show themselves to be more obsessed with us.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I take pleasure in Spurs, West Ham, QPR and Arsenal failing and only one of the four is a direct rival and I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Its all part of being a fan.

Real v Utd final

Utd 1-0 in the 89th minute when Ronaldo takes a blatant dive and gets awarded with a penalty and scores. Cue Utd fans slating him for weeks for diving (irony)

Then in 90th Minute Ade pops up with a goal from a corner and RM win 2-1

I like this very much.

During the nineties when apart from Kinkladze and Rosler we had very little to cheer about; the highlights in my very sorry Football existence was seeing Taggert giving Scmeichal permission to go up for a last ditch corner in order to grab a late equaliser or away Goal as yet again they got knocked out of Europe.
