Success for City is all I care about most of the time. However I think over the next few seasons our success will rely in part on United having some bad times. Let's hope they have some really bad times.

I spent a huge amount of time reading and watching and listening to everthing about our championship winning season. You kind of hope that lot were watching too and hurting badly.

As for last season, I haven't even seen the trophy with their ribbons on it yet. I didn't watch them lift it and everytime North West Tonight had a wank over it, I just turned the telly off. One of the things a lot of United fans find it hard to get their heads round is we just don't give a shit about them. Could I name the years they have won the title? Could I f****.

They are our rivals. Rivalry is healthy in life as well as - and especially - in sport. Without a rival i think sport is a lesser spectacle and pastime. I suppose you can't help how you feel, so if you do feel this way then there's not much you can do about it so to say it's wrong is probably unfair on you. It's like being married but falling in love with someone else; you can't help how you feel and it's not your fault.

But i do think it's a bit weird. I didn't give two hoots that United won the title last season. When we were struggling as a club and saw United winning everything in sight, i was more bothered. But now it's good to know that we will be winning trophies too and i know they're not going anywhere so i'm just content that we are now in the position we are in. Fuck the Rags! Yes i hate them, it's more the fans that i hate than the players or Fergie(not anymore!) or the club winning things though.

Overall the only thing that matters to me, though, is City.

I get where your coming from. I fuckin hate United, Chelsea, Arsenal etc ... But if there playing Spurs I'm as passionate about them winning as I am with West Ham.
