M has a classic artistic temperament, his 'moods' can last months, nay, even years !
I see him as a gifted mind, never quite at peace with himself, or the world.
A continual struggle within and an unmatched desire to see beyond himself for the greater good of his fellow man.
He can be gentle and caring one day, then cynical and abrasive the next.
Like Ghandi, he takes the weight of a nation on his shoulders.
We all owe him and his ilk a debt of gratitude. One of the great thinkers of a generation.
Long may he stumble on that dank heather in the misty glens and snaw-pouther, surveying his land, his very inner being.

There'll always be a Scotland laddie !
