I worked the red pants for a decade and it is an absolute shambles.
Serves them right for introducing zero hour contracts.
They are the new Menzies on the airport and that is a serious Diss!

TUI just announced 6 flights per day to be cancelled from Manchester Airport due to staff shortages.

Not said which ones yet though

To be fair, and I know it's not really, it's the only way to sort out this mess.
Waiting 2-3 hours for people to come out is no fun.
At least if they are business travellers I can claim waiting time.

Im due to fly with Ryan Air on Friday morning with my 10 year old daughter. My first holiday in almost 3 years.

So poor that they whinged like hell during covid that the government were destroying their industry and now they cant man the air craft.

Fingers crossed my flight doesnt get cancelled.

Not said which ones yet though

Odds on one of them will be Girona (which has two flights a week).

We have two TUI bookings on this route this summer and noticed that they've suddenly removed the ability to book this route on their website. This morning's flight to Girona was cancelled and I expect to get an e-mail soon. Although it is TUI so you never know.

We already activated a backup plan this morning!
