Is Mancini a bit biased toward Balo?

Balotelli is Mancini's wonderkid. He does have a soft spot for him due to their relationship, but he doesn't get any special treatment.

Stupid thread and on a day when we should all be celebrating the victory. Who cares if he has a softer spot for him? Balotelli played a good match today. If AJ hadn't scored, Dzeko would have come in very quickly because he wasn't warming up. We shouldn't try to read too much into anything.

Also, Balotell is only 21 years old, so it's natural to have a little more patience with him until he matures. He was benched after the L.A. Galaxy game and saw very little action while Dzeko and Aguero were scoring and handled it like a pro. I"m happy for the lad and his performance last two games.

Bobby is probably the only manager in the world who could manage Mario atm, like a father figure.

Mario is a nut, but that's his appeal isn't it?

Strange thread after a convincing away victory, shit stirring springs to mind.

Mario is coming on leaps and bounds every time he plays and is really showing us what he can do. I have always defended Mario, he is just immature for his age and is just a big kid that likes to have a laugh and enjoy life but I really feel the penny has dropped and he now in my opinion is trying to for fill his potential.

To the threads question, I do not believe Mancini has a "soft spot" for Mario he simple has realised what us city fans have done, Mario is one of the gifted of his generation and when he matures off the field and in his head he will be one of the best in the world, Mourinho tried to be totally authoritarian and no arm round the shoulder and failed miserably, not saying Mancini is soft on him.. because he isn't he just fines the fine balance with him when to discipline him and when to put an arm round him and he does it well.

Its funny that Mancini is being criticised for having favouritism for a striker who started fourth choice behind Dzeko, Kun and Tevez and started his first game today. Even by Blue Moon standards this thread takes some beating..
