Balotelli's future has often been the subject of conjecture amid reports the striker could return to his homeland, despite enjoying fine goalscoring form at City this season.
Santon has claimed the 21-year-old, who was recently criticised by his manager Roberto Mancini for his smoking habit, regularly changes his mind over where he sees himself plying his trade.
"We often speak and sometimes we meet up," Santon told Sky Sport Italia. "He doesn't have a proper smoking habit, he is just a quiet boy who wants to have fun.
"I do not know what he wants to do in the future because sometimes he says he wants to return to Italy and sometimes he says he wants to stay a long time with City."

As for the truth of the article, I agree it sounds like shite but it's interesting that ESPN would even write about it.
