No he's not, like Lescott he is a good player but the price tag was more a reflection of the buying club's circumstances than the player - you just have to judge him independently of what he cost.

He's a £15m player in the real world and a damn good one, he's got versatility and his technique is better than a lot of English footballers.

I just can't see how he is worth 26m.. We could have got a much better player for that price.
