Is Nasri a liability?

good classy player when we have the ball. don't think he has the heart for a fight. not a good player when your backs against the wall.

No,he's a fantastic option.....

In games like yesterday, where a bit more steel was required,I don't think he was the answer.

And again, sometimes it boils down to a lack of real alternative and our mythical squad quality.

Called it before Arsenal and yesterday. Knew he wouldn't turn up. Silver is much more of a man than Nasri will ever be.

Firstly let me say I am not a fan of Nasri. I sense he is not 100% committed to the cause. Occasionally he reveals the skills that he undoubtedly possesses but I find it annoying and irritating that these flashes of greatness are few and far between.
In games like yesterday he wanted to play the tippy tappy style of football he learnt at Arsenal. It came off once with Silva getting in on goal but generally his play for me is a weakness in the left side of our midfield.
David Silva is similar build and has been a titan in recent weeks running ,tackling and chasing. Cannot say the same about Nasri.
This is an area I would like to see us strengthen next Season.
Bottom line is if he was playing against us for the rags or Chelsea would he hurt us ,I don't think so.

It's unfair to compare him to silva in general, but especially over the past month or so. Obviously if given the choice I'd take hazard over him, but would i prefer mata?ozil?cazorla?eriksen?oscar? I think he's better and provides more than any of them.

Suppose we should recall sinclair from wba for the remaining six games...

I'd put any new deal on hold. He's doing the same thing he did at Arsenal, play well for half a season and then disappear.

I guess we have to decide whether 150k a week or whatever we're offering is worth half a good season every year.
