Is Our Squad Too Small?

The squad is very well balanced IMO, we would only have a problem if we had a disastrous run of injuries, say 6 or 7 players and that would stretch any squad, i am confident we have what we need and can always top up in January if needs be.

We could struggle big time in midfield if we get a few injuries to the likes of Barry & Ireland, i know we have De Jong & Kompany but they are very different players .

The squad is perfect as it has two top quality players for every position, backed up with kids coming through. It's not long since it looked like we had a huge squad. Not now. What we don't have, particularly, is dead wood.

I can see your point but if Barry and Ireland were both injured i feel he would play Dejong and Kompany in there and either Tevez,SWP or Robinho as the attacking mid with one up front when we dont have the ball and three when we do.

wot i reckon they shud do is buy good younssters to in crese depth like breno and mertesacker for defence , toni kroos and and sum1 like douglas costa that will bring good depthand be great for the future!
