This is correct - Vieira is not eligable for Tuesday or the 2nd leg because he was not registered at the club at the time of the draw.

according to the carling cup rules if the player is eligable to play a prem league game he can play in the carling cup ..... it say nothing about the draw or rearranged fixtures.

I hope so, he'd certainly give us a different option. I'd like to think he'll be on the bench at least.
