Is Rodri better than Yaya ?

After last night masterclass by Rodri it got me thinking...has Rodri now eclipsed Yaya Toure in that central midfield role ?

Different players in different roles. I'd say Rodri is more complete and certainly more consistent, but Toure got more goals playing in a more advanced position. I have to say, Rodri is like a hybrid of the best qualities of Fernandinho and Toure. By the time he's done, we might be talking about the greatest ever player in that position.

Not for me, but both unbelievable.
An impossible question really!

That passing magic and close control that Yaya, Silva and Nasri had in midfield will never be bettered for me - but how can you not love Rodri too - and he has a better agent ;-)

More Fern than Yaya in his role. And yes, he's better than Fern, and the plaudits don't come any higher than that.

He’s had more consistently good seasons than Yaya did and is a more important cog in the machine.
Prime Yaya was an absolute joy and pleasure to watch though.
