It doesn't help that he has been carrying an injury, he has never been 100% right since he went hospital for the dizzy spells, i just hope he can get a run of games and rediscover his form.

Injuries and playing out of position don`t help. Loss of confidence now the issue, he needs a run of games and a little bit of understanding from the fans, then hopefully he will be back to his best.

I'm sure he'd play better if Barry could spot him in 20 yards of space instead of delaying the passes and the space disappearing.........Robinho ALWAYS spotted Ireland early and what a difference it makes.

Very good point mate. It annoys me how Barry turns left, right, left everytime he has the ball. Get your head up Barry and play the pass quicker

Same old story. Ireland's suffering a confidence lapse, Mancini's tactics are limiting blah blah blah.

Ireland has been poor this season, none of us know the reason. He does. Taking the, "Ireland is Superman" banner down would be disasterous. He clearly knows its there and on taking it down the negative effects it would have on his performance would be drastic.

He would then know that the fans were loosing faith in him and that would possibly permanently dent his confidence. Steven will pull through, he knows whats what.
