Thats a fair shout! I get frustrated when I see the ground empty but see why some people can't make it sometimes, was just about to ask the same question about the Copehagen game! Reasons, I have moved to London am a Season ticket holder and drive up for every home game, have just been to Portsmouth & Copenhagen away and have shit loads of work on, so won't be travelling up on Thursday night, but you could bet your bottom dollar I'd be there If I still Lived in Manc!

I'm sure this doesn't apply to the majority. There'll be 40k+ the following week for a midweek game.

exactly. Im only 23 and ive been a season ticket holder for 20 years. I live in leicster now not manchester and it annoys me when people question your loyalty cause you cant make all the games that are not premiership games.

Obviously it doesnt apply to everyone but the excuse of funds are short might! :)

im sure come thursday night we will be having the discussion of "why dident city fans living in the area get their arses down to the game tonight"...no excuses(well not many anyway)....cheap as chips..

I agree that there should be little or no excuse for locals to get their arse down to the game, its cheap, its your team and you get a chance to watch a side you may never see live again! Get your arses down peeps! We would all love a nice away trip in Europe later this season!

Any blue that lives in an M postcode and chooses to watch this on TV instead of going on Thursday should be ashamed of themselves...

I'm not being funny mate, but the majority of people that go to our games aint gonna be short of £15...

Give me unemployment as an excuse, but not credit crunch... If you're in work at the moment then you're better off. (lower mortgage rates, cheaper food etc...)

On the night I think we should send out vans to all the local pubs showing the game, anyone with a City shirt on gets piled in the back and forced into the ground. Either that or send them round to the houses of all the local Citycard holders who haven't bought a ticket to the game.
