I hate them more now then when we were shit. I'd accepted we were shit and was happy with a draw and the odd win. Now we are better than them and I hate Derby day more than ever. Even with what they have now and being at the dump I still expect to beat them which makes it worse than ever.

Actually, you have a point. I've supported Gods Own since 1971 and 'obviously' detested the scummy fuckers, but more so now even though we ARE superior. Strange really, I'm normally caring and graceful to those that are 'beneath' me. Nah, fuck em!

It's only football, if a mate of mine was attending a derby the same day I was, I wouldn't treat him any different than I normally do. Bit of friendly piss taking but that's it.

Some people take football far to seriously. It's a big part of my life, definitely. Doesn't mean I have to hate every single united fan going. To be honest, if we lose to them, I don't really get that much abuse for it from my mates. It's forgotten after an hour of talking about it.
