Is The Tide Turning

The tide is turning but it will take some time for it to become obvious. Its a pity City, Spuds and Villa haven't progressed as much as they should have by now because the decline of the old top 4 would have become more obvious. Baconface built a team of flat track bullies who could get the results against non top 4 teams, a lot of whom were beaten before they started and relied upon the other top 4 teams slipping up aka Liverpool last season. This season they aren't getting the results but neither are the other top 4 candidates so they are maintaining their top 4 position for the moment. They might well stay top 4 this year but as their financial troubles begin to bite harder they will be unable to replace the old guard who have seen them through the last 10/15 yrs. They will also be unable to hang onto any of the current players who are top class as other teams who do not have their cash problems lure them away.

There is a real possibility of them winning nothing this season which will accelerate their decline and if they do drop out of the top 4 and continue to win nothing the glory hunters will be jumping ship which will reduce income and the circle of decline will set in. The promissory notes the Glaziers signed for personal loans have a sting in the tail in that if the profits drop below a certain amount then the people who lent them the money can appoint people to the board who will be looking to make the operation profitable by cutting costs. I can't see them doing a Leeds but I can see them declining to be a mid table side.
thats music to my ears ''love it''

I Do hope this is the case for the future! this post could easy be a "best seller" i loved to read this post!

The old top 4 are finished within the next 2 or 3 years, its the time of the "new money" clubs. It will be chelsea, us, tottenham and whoever is the beneficiary of the next big cash injection (Birmingham wont be the ones, thats for sure).

Liverpool are broke and need to fund a new stadium, scum are in debt so deep that only a middle eastern royal buy out will enable them to be competitive, and the arse a run by people out of touch with todays football reality, and once wenger, and his ability to uncover hidden gems and sell them for big profit, is gone, then they too will fade away too.

It might be vulgar, but thats the way it is, the future isnt blue, its green and crinkly, enjoy

I think the rumors of their demise are way overblown. Too much history and tradition. Big stadium. Massive fanbase globally. They'll always be competing for trophies. They won't dominate. But they'll always compete.
