Is there any way back into fans’ hearts for Cancelo?

I guess it's all down to the player ultimately, given that Pep seems prepared to allow a second chance.
For me he wouldn't have got that second chance - he literally played against us in the CL because of his attitude stinking the place out. I just think we've moved on and I don't see his attitude changing long term.
Edit: That's a lovely cross for Haaland so er, yeah all forgiven

Didn't our tier 1 reporter say just yesterday that there was no way back despite being on preseason with the team?

Only if Pep is happy to have him back, which I think is unlikely

He put himself before the team and there's no guarantee he won't do it again

I suspect he’s not the total **** some on here think he is but that he is a difficult character. All workplaces have them. It’s wrong to say that he’ll never change, he could but them some people are still arseholes at 80.

Wouldn’t bother me if he stays or goes, does depend on him to a large degree I think. As a footballer is pretty useful

I'd hazard a guess that some of the players won't have been best pleased with his antics, including fucking off when needed.
it shouldn't only be down to Pep.
