You think Labour will get a working majority?
They are 7/4 to do so
No majority 6/4
Tories majority 9/4
Don't be silly. I thought you studied politics.Skashion said:Opinion polls are certainly indicating that.gordondaviesmoustache said:You think Labour will get a working majority?
Mid term elections mean nothing. A lot can happen in between now and then. Also you have to take into account Who the Sun newspaper supports(I mention this as whoever the Sun backs tends to win a majority).SWP's back said:Who will carry them on.jordinho09 said:This. I think Labour are the best of the top 3 parties, although Ed Milliband shouldn't be in charge. Also I think Labour would be better if the Unions didn't hold sway over them.gordondaviesmoustache said:Be careful what you wish for.
Without the calming hand of the Lib Dems the Tories would run amok. If the Conservatives had won in 2010 things would be far, far worse in terms of social policy etc..
In answer to the question of the OP, the coalition will last until the next election and then Labour will win. People are sick of the cuts and will look to labour.
FWIW, I don't know any real human that has even mentioned the cuts (other than on here), let alone noticed them or are "sick" of them. It's just the usual noisy minority.
I think the Tories will poll the most votes at the next election and there will be another coalition. They are doing remarkably well for mid term and will have some vote winners by the time we get to vote again.

You know you'd lose. Your transparent plan to get me drunk and then arse rape when we do meet will not be successful. I am well stocked with Rohypnol and a master of stealth. It is you who shall awaken with a sore arsehole.gordondaviesmoustache said:It will be a hung Parliament again. I'll wager a pint on that.
I'd agree with this. It's in the interests of both the Tories and the Lib Dems to postpone the election as much as possible; I've noticed the Lib Dems in particular attempting to keep quiet re the prospect of boundary changes being dropped if Lords reform goes too (quelle surprise) - Simon Hughes in particular. (http://www.newstatesman.com/blogs/p...ms-should-not-threaten-block-boundary-changes) because they realise they're fucked either way. They want to spend as much time in office as possible before they're sent to their electoral doom. For the tories, they want to see their economic policies last the distance. It's 50/50 how that turns out, if the economy starts growing significantly over the next two years it will turn out to be a good move. If not, Labour will most definitely make hay out of it.gordondaviesmoustache said:Skashion said:Opinion polls are certainly indicating that.gordondaviesmoustache said:You think Labour will get a working majority?
