I concur, brilliantly played by Willie Ross, I did here he was a teetotal aswell which makes his performance even better, sadly he died about 10 years ago

Behave you! Never said I didn't like it. I simply questioned it's ''awesomeness''. There are some stand out scenes in it; the one where Bob and the aforementioed drunk (I think it was them anyway!)are arguing, and the old duffer on the balcony of his flat is egging them on is brilliant. I just think there are better comedies from that era/genre; The Full Monty for one, East is East for another and Brassed Off (perhaps the best of those ones as it raised some serious social issues around pit closures).
