Is this true?

This is the kind of annoying shite that pops up on LinkedIn's news feed:

The 7 Secrets of Leadership
The 8 Reasons You Need to Be Boss
The 5 Secrets of Success
The 4 Ways to Improving Your Life
The 9 Reasons To Hate The Black eyed Peas

Fucking does my nut in. Like there's some kind of immediate magic formula you apply carte blanche. Fucking rubbish. You want to know what the real secret is? Well there isn't a single one, there are 12 secrets to a successful…oh bollocks!

Anyway, rant over. Sorry.

I can sort of see where this way of thinking comes from, but I'd like to think I was more my own person instead of a fifth of each of the people I spend the most time with.

You are the average of the 5 people you spend most time with.

I've seen that on a banner at white hart lane

Haha, that really wouldn't surprise me.

I'd say there was a degree of truth in it, parenting especially comes to mind if we accept that our parents come hugely into the equation then it's pretty common to see others or ourselves mimic or deal with things in a similar manner to what they did/do.
