Isco (merged)

If we have Silva, Aguero, Sterling, KDB and Isco in the same team I think we might be able to start daring to dream of being as attack minded as the current united team.

It really could be that exciting.
I agree with that line up. People get too hung up about formations but if we had a world class back four and Fernandinho in the holding role, the remaining five outfield players could be explosive. Pity we don't have a world class back four though. Other than VK [when fit] there is a lot of work to do in this department.

But that is not to say that Isco could be even more exciting than Silva or a better player in the years to come. Think about the quality of footie on offer.

Would you have Isco playing over Silva or KdB?

He's appeared in 13 of Real's 17 league games this season and isn't happy (can't find number of starts) - would that kind of stat be any different with us?

No doubt he's a talented player, but i'm always an advocate of giving players a run of games to gain form rather than in one week out the next..can we afford to do that with all the attacking midfielders we have and keep them happy?

Isco's problem with playing time is not really about how much he's gotten this season but the fact that he's always going to be on the bench if James Rodriguez is fit.

James got injured, and Isco played a lot - and really well. Then James returned on the 8 November, immediately played the Classico when he wasn't match fit and Isco hasn't started a league game since.

He's also capable of playing in central midfield, not just behind the striker, so he could take up a lot of game time for Yaya who obviously can't play 180 minutes a week.

Then you've got Silva, who's missing more and more games every season, and his ankle seems like it's just one bad challenge away from putting him out for 8 weeks.

And Aguero is always injured, so Sterling could play up front and Isco come in as Bony isn't impressing.

There would be loads of opportunities for him to play.

Did that fool just describe silva like Everton used to describe Rodwell!

All the rumours are about him leaving Real in January.

There is 0% chance Bony leaves in January.

Ditching Fernando mid season would be a stupid move, and Demichelis would be a massive risk and would mean Horsfield or Tosin being used at times.

I was talking about the logistics of the move when summer comes around after he'd signed in January. The immediate impact and changes are easy to see...he's ineligble in the champions league for us, so nobody would need to give way and Nasri is out till April I think it was reported so he'll take his spot in the premier league squad.
