That's not how Real Madrid works. The manager has to start Bale Benzema and Ronaldo. That's not negotiable, as Benitez found out before the Clasico.

So that means Isco or James can play, and James cost 2x as much and is, frankly, better.

Isco won't play more no matter who the manager is. Only way he starts regularly is if someone gets injured.

He barely played under Ancelotti unless someone was injured.

Why would it make a difference if Benitez is sacked or not? Isco still isn't a guaranteed starter considering the options ahead of him and if Zidane takes over, surely it's just as a caretaker anyway?
