There's a reason he's not getting games for Madrid andd has been left out of the Spain squad. He's incredibly inconsistent, and when he's not on top form he's as good as useless. Unless he can gain some consistency he's out of his depth at Madrid and would be with us too. I'd put him in the same bracket as someone like Coutinho.
Hmmm, he is not on the Spanish team coz he spent the season bench warming. As for consistency, he is quite consistent. And pretty talented to boot. Anytime he comes in for Madrid, a Modric like class is added to Real's play. Perhaps I'm biased. Yep our away game at Madrid our CMs barely got any whiff of the ball. Isco + Modric + Kroos just pulled the ball on a string. His career needs a move but I suspect he's being badly advised - can't see him moving to be honest he seems to be relatively content to play a minor role at RM providing people like Zidane blow a bit of smoke up his arse here and there. If Isco was all that he'd have demanded a move 2 years ago when he wasn't playing.

Isco is massively overrated, I agree with your Coutinho point, Eriksen and even Nasri on top form are that bracket. We could buy Isco and him not even make our best XI.
