Yea if Gundo wants out, this could make sense, esp with how Pep has been utilizing Bernardo more on the wing. With Dave winding down and prob leaving after next season, Isco could play quite a bit in that role (w/ Foden then replacing Dave). Bernardo could continue to be deployed as a RW with occasional games in the midfield. Not likely to happen, but it’s not like Isco wouldn’t be used.

Please not Isco.... Bernardo is at his best centrally - we need Mahrez to step up - his patchy form is why Bernardo has played wide.

I've said it before, Isco is the only player in Europe to come close to a replacement for Silva when he does decide to hang his boots up.

I know Bernardo can play the role but he can't be expected to play every game in a season, if we've got the option to grab the talent of Isco we should grab him with both hands, the lad is a class act.

Lol isco again! I would still take him to be honest pep would turn him into a world beater would be looking to get him on the cheap though a capable replacement for merlin and I wonder if he could do a jorginho style pivot role for us.

Still, the guy is class... and he's not had tremendous success at RM. If he wants to join us, I'd like to see that happen. Our mid is packed for sure, but DS is surely approaching career end.
